Theresa Himmer
Theresa Himmer uses sequins to paint the town, well, shimmery.
Originating in Denmark, her sequin graffiti has traveled all over Reykjavik, Iceland and now is finding a home base in New York City.
Upon first glance, they are reminiscent of pixel/tile based graffiti, but when tickled by the wind, the thousands of individual sequins shimmy, shake and shine in different colors dripping from the tops of buildings. Quite impressive!
